The Vivo Y93 is a slightly different smartphone compared to the Vivo Y91. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 439 SoC and sports a dual-camera on the rear. Also, it is available in three different variants with 3+64GB and a 5MP front camera or with 3+64GB and 4+64GB with an 8MP front camera. It packs a built-in battery with 4,030mAh capacity and is running Android Oreo with FunTouch OS.
The bezel-less screen of the Vivo Y93 has 6.2-inch and an aspect ratio of 19:9. The screen-to-body ratio is 88.63%. The waterdrop notch display comes with HD+ resolution (1520x720p). Another difference to the Y91 is the processor of the Y93. It is powered by an octa-core 64bit Snapdragon 439 chipset clocked at 1.95GHz. The fast octa-core processor and a powerful Adreno 505 GPU are a great combination for mobile gaming, while the 64GB internal storage can be expanded by up to 256GB with microSD card.
In terms of optics, photography fans will enjoy the dual camera setup on the rear. The Vivo Y93 features a 13-megapixel main sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and PDAF support. The secondary 2-megapixel sensor with f/2.4 aperture is responsible for taking pictures with depth of field. Depending on the model, the Y93 comes either with a 5-megapixel selfie camera or an 8-megapixel selfie shooter with wide f/2.0 aperture. All three variants support facial recognition to unlock the Android mobile phone in less than a second.
The Vivo Y93 has a large non-removable battery with 4030mAh and is charged via microUSB port. The battery life benefits from Vivo's smart power management system. Connectivity options include dual 4G LTE, dual VoLTE, OTG, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. For navigation, the Vivo Y93 supports GPS, Beidou and Glonass.
