The Vivo Y53s launched in China with 5G support and a Snapdragon 480 SoC. The Android phone is equipped with a 6.58-inch 90Hz screen, 8GB of RAM and a 64MP dual rear camera. The internal storage of the Vivo Y53s 5G can be expanded by up to 1TB (Terabyte) and its built-in battery with 5000mAh capacity comes with a standby-time up to 21.7 days. The affordable 5G phone runs OriginOS, based on Android 11 OS, out of the box.
The handset has a 6.58-inch LCD screen with FHD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The Vivo Y53s 5G has a 20:9 aspect ratio and 90.61% screen-to-body ratio with a resolution of 2408x1080 pixels. The 5G model of Vivo Y53s is powered by a 64bit Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with eight cores and a maximum burst frequency of 2.0GHz. The octa-core chipset is paired with an Adreno 619 GPU for graphics and 8GB LPDDR4x RAM. The phone is available as 128GB storage variant and 256GB storage variant with UFS 2.1 internal storage standard. The internal storage can be further expanded with a microSD memory card up to 1TB.
For photography, the Vivo Y53s 5G offers a dual camera setup at the back. The camera system comprises a 64 megapixel main camera, paired with a 2 megapixel macro lens with f/2.4 aperture supporting 4x digital zoom and EIS. At the front, the Vivo phone comes with an 8-megapixel selfie shooter with an f/2.0 aperture housed in a waterdrop notch. The main rear camera of the Vivo Y53s can record videos up to 1080p.
The phone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. Other features of the Android phone include a USB Type-C port, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, a Smart PA amplifier and Super Audio 2.0 to intelligently identify different scenes and adjust audio details. For connectivity, you get 5G, 4G LTE, VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, as well as GPS, Galileo, GLONASS and QZSS for navigation purposes. The Vivo Y53s 5G is running OriginOS based on Android 11 with new features and design. Please note, that even if English language (or another language) is available, some parts of the operating system might still be displayed in Chinese language. No launcher change possible.
