The Vivo U1 shares most of its specifications with the Vivo Y95, which was launched in various markets (including India) already. The Vivo U1 comes with a 6.2-inch touchscreen and the only different specification compared to the Y95 model is the front camera with a resolution of 8MP. The Vivo U1 is powered by a Snapdragon 439 octa-core processor, up to 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of storage. A large battery with 4030mAh capacity is responsible for great battery life.
The budget phone of the new U-series brand sports a waterdrop notch display with 6.2-inch in size and 1520 x 720 resolution. Underneath, a 64bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC with a burst frequency up to 1.95 GHz comes paired with an Adreno 505 GPU and either 3GB or 4GB of RAM. The Vivo U1 offers a microSD card slot with up to 256GB expandable storage. Its on-board storage is either 32GB or 64GB.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Vivo U1 packs a 13-megapixel (f/2.0) primary camera and a 2-megapixel (f/2.2) secondary camera on the rear and a front shooter for selfies with 8-megapixel resolution. It also supports facial recognition to unlock the Android phone with face unlock feature. In addition, there is also a fingerprint sensor located on the rear.
Connectivity options on the Vivo U1 mobile device include dual SIM, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS. The phone is powered by a 4,030mAh battery. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with the company’s own FunTouch OS 4.5 on top.
