The Ulefone Armor 5 is the world's first notch rugged phone. The smartphone is equipped with a display similar to Apple’s iPhone X meaning a 5.85″ with an aspect ratio of 18.9:9 and a notch at the top. The device is also equipped with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage space, as well as an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The rear of the Ulefone Armor 5 features a dual-camera setup using a 13-megapixel primary sensor supported by a 5-megapixel lens. On board the handset is a 5,000mAh battery with wireless charging capabilities based on Qi standard.
The 18:9 screen has a resolution of 1512 x 720 pixels (HD+). The slim bezels allow for up to 91% screen-to-body-ratio and the display is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The Armor 5 is powered by the 64bit MediaTek MT6763 SoC with eight cores and a maximum clock speed of 2.0GHz. The chipset works in combination with 4GB of RAM. The internal storage of 64GB can be expanded with a microSD memory card up to 256GB.
What’s more, there are a total of three camera sensors on board. On the rear is a 13-megapixel camera sensor with f/2.2 aperture as well as a secondary 5-megapixel camera sensor. The selfie shooter can be interpolated to 13-megapixel, with f/2.4 aperture. The front-facing camera can be used to unlock the durable phone with your face. In addition, the Armor 5 has a traditional fingerprint sensor located on the rear.
The notch screen phone has a built-in battery with 5000mAh capacity supporting Quick Charge with 5V/2A. The large battery can be charged without using any cable thanks to Qi wireless charging technology. The dual SIM phone features dual 4G LTE and supports e.g. band 20 with 800MHz. Furthermore, the Ulefone rugged phone supports Bluetooth 4.0, dual-band Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n), NFC for Android Pay, GPS, Glonass and a digital compass.
