Realme has launched two new variants of the Realme GT smartphone series in China. The two smartphones - Realme GT Master Explorer Edition and Realme GT Master Edition are part of the Realme GT Master series and have been designed and developed in partnership with designer Naoto Fukasawa featuring a suitcase-style leather back panel. The Realme GT Master Edition comes with a 6.43 inch full HD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate and 64MP triple rear camera setup. The GT Master Edition is powered by a Snapdragon 778G octa-core chipset and 8GB RAM + 5GB dynamic storage expansion (DRE). The Android phone is available as "Travel suitcase" design by Master Naoto Fukasawa with an exclusive street photography mode. Underneath the 120Hz Samsung AMOLED screen is a 4300mAh battery supporting 65W Smart Flash charging. The Realme phone supports dual 5G, NFC and is running Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 OS.
The GT Master Edition features a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel supporting 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, 91.7% screen-to-body ratio and 5,000,000:1 contrast. The touch panel has a peak brightness of 1000 nits and supports 100% P3 wide color gamut. The Realme GT Master Edition is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor with up to 2.4GHz clock speed and an Adreno 642L GPU at 550MHz. The Realme GT Master Edition is available with 8GB of RAM featuring Dynamic RAM Expansion (DRE), which will provide you with a total of 13GB of RAM by using up to 5GB of the phone's internal storage. Available storage options of the GT Master Edition include 128GB and 256GB.
In the camera department, the Realme GT Master Edition sports a 64MP main camera sensor, paired with an 8 megapixel ultra wide-angle camera with 119° FOV and 15.8mm equivalent focal length and a third 2 megapixel macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. The rear video function supports up to 4K/30fps video recording and EIS, UIS and UIS Max Super Video Anti-Shake. Camera functions of the rear camera include 64MP mode, Super night scene, Panoramic, Time-lapse photography, Background blur, HDR, or Movie mode amongst others. The front camera with 32 megapixel Sony IMX615 sensor supports 85° field-of-view and f/2.5 aperture to take photos, video calls, unlock the phone or record videos with up to 1080p at 30fps.
Backed by a 4300mAh battery, the handset offers 65W fast charge technology support. A built-in multi-layer cooling system ensures excellent heat dissipation when things are starting to get hot. The phone can be charged within 33 minutes to 100%. Additional features of the Realme smartphone include dual 5G connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2, dual-band Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi 6, GPS, GLONASS, QZSS, Beidou, and Galileo for navigation.
