The Oppo Find X3 features the same sleek and unique design as the Oppo Find X3 Pro. The Android device is powered by a Snapdragon 870 SoC and also has a camera bump with 1 billion color dual primary cameras both using a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor. The Oppo Find X3 sports a QHD+ AMOLED screen with one billion colors, is life waterproof and supports 30W AirVOOC wireless Qi charging. The China version PEEM00 of the Find X3 supports dual SIM and a wide variety of 4G and 5G network bands for global usage. The Oppo Find X3 is available in Blue, White and Black color options.
The curved LTPO AMOLED screen is another key feature of the Find X3. The LTPO OLED 10-bit panel integrates full-path color management and has a resolution of 3216 x 1440 pixels (525ppi). The 1-billion-color display shows over 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and has a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Additional features are a peak brightness of 1300 nits, HDR10+ support, and a contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1. The Android phone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 870 chipset with a maximum burst frequency of 3.2GHz. The 64bit processor is paired with 8GB of DDR4x RAM and an Adreno 650 graphics processor. The Oppo Find X3 is available with 128GB or 256GB internal storage.
Like the Oppo Find X3 Pro, the Find X3 comes with a quad-camera setup on the back. The camera system consist of two 50MP primary camera sensors from Sony (IMX 766). The first 50MP sensor is a wide-angle lens with 1/1.56" sensor size, f/1.8 aperture, OIS, and All Pixel Omni-directional PDAF. The second 50MP primary camera is an ultra wide-angle lens with 1/1.56" sensor size, f/2.2 aperture, a native 110.3° FOV (Field of View), and All Pixel Omni-directional PDAF. In addition, there is a 13 megapixel telephoto camera (f/2.4) supporting 5x hybrid optical zoom and 20x digital zoom and a fourth 3MP micro lens camera with 60x magnification. There front-facing camera is located in the top left corner and sports a 32MP f/2.4 selfie camera with 81° FOV. Thanks to the integrated full-path color management it is ensured that all photos you shoot and videos you record with the cameras can be displayed with a billion colors, instead of 16.7 million colors on any other smartphone screen.
The Android phone packs two separate battery cells with a total capacity of 4,500mAh. The Oppo Find X3 supports 65W SuperVOOC charging and Qi wireless charging with 30W AirVOOC. The Find X3 is equipped with Dolby-tuned stereo loudspeakers and while the Find X3 Pro supports IP68 water and dust resistance, the Oppo Find X3 supports life waterproof. Connectivity options include, Wi-Fi 6, dual 5G, dual 4G and 4G+, as well as 2×2 MIMO and 8 spatial-stream sounding MU-MIMO support. The Oppo phone has built-in GPS, A-GPS, BeiDou Navigation Satellite System, GLONASS, and QZSS positioning systems and a range of different sensors, including a color temperature sensor, gyroscope or pedometer. The Oppo Find X3 runs ColorOS 11.2 offering a huge number of customization options, so you can really make the phone your own. Please note, that even if English language (or another language) is available, some parts of the operating system might still be displayed in Chinese language. No launcher change possible.
