The Nokia X6 is a new Android mid-range phone with notched screen. The phone has narrow bezel with 19:9 display measuring 5.8 inches. The X6 uses a 64bit Snapdragon 636 processor with 4GB or 6GB of RAM. The 4 GB RAM model comes with either 32GB or 64GB ROM. The 6GB RAM version has 64GB storage on board. All three versions support microSD card up to 256GB. In the rear are dual cameras and the 16MP front camera is used for facial recognition to unlock the Nokia phone.
The Nokia X6 sports a 5.8-inch Full-HD+ (1080 x 2280 pixels) display with 19:9 aspect ratio protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top. The X6 is the first Nokia device to feature a notch at the top of its screen. The handset is powered by a Snapdragon 636 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage or 6GB of RAM and 64GB storage. A dual SIM hybrid slot is onboard to expand the storage via a microSD memory card by up to 256GB.
On the rear is a dual camera consisting of a 16-megapixel sensor (f/2.0) and an additional 5-megapixel monochrome sensor with f/2.2 aperture. On the front side of the Nokia X6 is a 16MP camera lens for snapping brilliant selfies and to unlock the phone. In addition, the back panel also houses a standard fingerprint sensor. Camera software features include AI image enhancements and a HDR mode, as well as Nokia’s 'bothie' mode.
According to HMD, the X6 is available in White, Blue and Black color variants. It does include a 3.5mm headphone jack as well as a USB Type-C port for charging the built-in battery with 3,060mAh. Thanks to Quick Charge 3.0 the battery is charged up to 50% in 30 minutes. Further features inside the premium body made of glass and metal side frame are WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/A-GPS, Glonass and Beidou. Sensor include an electronic compass and gyroscope. Android 8.0 Oreo OS comes pre-installed on the Nokia X6 smartphone.
