Besides the Nokia 8 Sirocco there is a new mid-range phone available. The new Nokia 7 Plus comes with ceramic-feel coating on the back and design wise it looks a bit like the Google Pixel 2 XL. It sports a 6-inch screen with 2,160 x 1,080-pixel resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor and optionally 4GB of RAM or 6 GB of RAM should offer sufficient power. The Nokia 7 Plus offers a big screen and premium design at a mid-range price tag. The 6-inch Full-HD+ display comes with a handy 18:9 aspect ratio. Like the other Android phones from Nokia the display is additionally protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood is a powerful 64bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset with a maximum clock speed of 2.2 GHz. The SoC is supported by either 4GB or 6 GB of RAM and an Adreno 512 GPU. The large internal storage of the model TA-1062 provides 64GB and can be further expanded by up to 256GB with a micro SD card.
The cameras have Zeiss optics and certificates. The rear dual-camera setup has a 12-megapixel and a 13-megapixel lens, and they both allow for 2x optical zoom, as well as “bothies”. The front camera has a higher resolution and sports 16-megapixels for great selfies even in low-light conditions.
The biggest promise HMD is making with the Nokia 7 Plus is two-day battery life. Inside the aluminum body is a large 3800 mAh battery that supports fast charging technology.
