The Lenovo Motorola Edge S an affordable smartphone with Snapdragon 870, which is an upgrade of the Snapdragon 865+ SoC. The 5G phone sports a 90Hz IPS display with HDR10 certification and 21:9 aspect ratio. A dual front-facing camera is integrated into the punch-hole screen and on the rear of the Motorola Edge S is a triple camera with ToF sensor. The internal storage of up to 256GB can be expanded with 1TB microSD memory card. The 5000mAh battery ensures long usage times of up to 38.1 hours 5G connectivity. The Motorola Edge S also supports dual 4G LTE, including band 20 (B20) with 800MHz and band 28 (B28) with 700MHz for great network and signal coverage using mobile data.
The Motorola Edge S has a full HD+ midrange-class IPS display with 90 Hz refresh rate and 2520 x 1080 pixels resolution (409ppi). Additional features of the screen include HDR 10 support, DCI-P3, as well as a lower 560 nits typical brightness. The 5G Lenovo handset is powered by a 64bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 octa-core processor with up to 3.2GHz clock speed. The CPU is coupled with an Adreno 650 GPU and up to 8GB DDR5 of RAM. The internal storage of 128GB or 256GB is expandable by microSD card.
The main camera of the Motorola Edge S on the rear is composed of a 64 megapixel main sensor (OmniVision OV64B) with an f/1.7 focal aperture and PDAF, a 16 megapixel ultrawide sensor with a 121 degrees FOV, a 2 megapixel depth sensor, and an additional TOF 3D sensor. On the front is a dual camera. The pair of selfie cameras consist of a 16 megapixel main sensor (f/2.0) and a secondary 8 megapixel ultrawide lens with f/2.2 aperture and 100° field-of-view.
The Motorola Edge S packs a big battery with a 5000 mAh capacity, providing a long battery life. The Edge S supports fast charging technology with up to 20W. Other features include Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, USB Type-C 2.0, USB On-The-Go, and GPS with dual-band A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, Galileo. The phone is also IP certified and therefore dust proof and splash-resistant. The Lenovo Motorola Edge S is running MY UI based on Android 11 out of the box.
