The triple-camera setup on the rear is comprised of a 40-megapixel f/1.8 wide-angle "SuperSpectrum" sensor, paired with an 8-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 16-megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor. The P30 can take photos with a 3x lossless optical zoom and 30x digital zoom. The newly developed camera technology SuperSpectrum substitutes the RGB sensor (Red-Green-Blue) with a RYYB (Red-Yellow-Yellow-Blue) sensor to capture twice as much light as before. The P30 is using a combination of Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and AI-powered digital stabilization which improves taking pictures with the Night Mode. Other modes include Super HDR, Time-lapse, Panoramic, Black and White Art, Super macro, and many more. The 32-megapixel f/2.0 front-facing camera supports Portrait mode, Panorama mode, Fun AR, and Time-lapse amongst others. Videos can be taken with up to 4K resolution (3480*2160) and super slow motion videos with 720p@960fps.
