The Huawei MediaPad M6 8.4-inch model sports a sharp 2K display with 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution and a pixel density of 359ppi. Under the hood, a HiSilicon Kirin 980 chipset powers the Android tablet. The SoC is accompanied by 4GB of RAM and a Mali G76 graphics processor. The MediaPad M6 8.4-inch also packs up to 128GB of onboard storage with a microSD card slot (up to 512GB). Friends of mobile gaming can look forward to GPU Turbo 3.0 support.
In terms of optics, the Huawei tablet comes with two cameras. The MediaPad M6 is equipped with a 13-megapixel rear shooter with auto-focus support and an 8-megapixel front shooter with fixed-focus support. The connectivity options of the 8.4-inch version include dual band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB Type-C. Additionally, the tablet features a 6,100mAh battery as well as two speakers. Despite having a smaller battery, the 8.4 inch model gets more run time compared to the 10.8 inch model, with up to 12.5 hours of battery life while watching videos. The tablet runs EMUI based on Android 9 Pie OS. Please note, that even if English language (or another language) is available, some parts of the operating system might still be displayed in Chinese language. No launcher change possible.
