The Huawei MateBook D 15 Ryzen Edition comes with an upgraded Ryzen processor and fingerprint reader to unlock the laptop. The elegant looking body is made of aluminum and the AMD powered notebook comes with a 15.6-inches FHD panel. It packs the latest AMD Ryzen 5 3500U mobile chipset. It comes in two different configurations with 8GB+256GB or 16GB+256GB variants. All configurations are coupled with the Radeon RX Vega 8 graphics card with 8 CUs (512 Shaders) clocked at up to 1200MHz. The MateBook D15 Ryzen Edition is available in Mystic Silver or Space Gray color.
The laptop features a premium aluminum unibody design with a 15.6 inch full HD display and super-sharp 1920x1080 pixels resoution, 178-degree viewing angles and 250 nits brightness. The device has a 87% screen-to-body ratio and the 16:9 screen makes the MateBook D 15 an excellent choice for productivity when working from home, at the airport or on the way to a meeting. The Huawei Matebook D 15 is driven by the new AMD Ryzen 5 3500U mobile SoC.
The Huawei MateBook D 15 packs a large 42Wh battery, dual-band WiFi, fingerprint scanner, and it also features two USB A ports, a USB-C port for charging and data, HDMI and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It comes with a small charger that you can also use for your phone too and Huawei's Quick Charger lets your charge the laptop from 0 to 70% in around an hour. Thin and light ultrabooks have a tendency to sacrifice ports, which is not the case with the MateBook D 15. The MateBook D 15 runs Windows 10 China OS out of the box, but is also available with Linux or Windows 10 Pro.
