The Huawei Mate Xs comes with an 8-inch foldable FullView display powered by a Kirin 990 flagship 5G processor. The 5G 2-in-1 foldable Mate Xs Android smartphone has a wraparound Super AMOLED display, a folded thickness of 11mm, and premium specifications like 5G, 8GB of RAM, a Leica quad camera, and a total of 4,500mAh battery capacity.
The Huawei Mate Xs presents groundbreaking technology adapting the unique Falcon Wing Design with innovative hinge. The front of the phone is all-screen with 6.6-inches (19.5:9 aspect ratio, 2480 x 1148 pixel resolution). If you turn the Mate Xs around a secondary 6.38-inch rear with 25:9 aspect ratio and 2480 x 892 pixels resolution. If unfolded, the main display stretches 8-inch in size with 2480 x 2200 pixels resolution and an aspect ratio of 8:7.1.
The chipset is the heart of the Mate Xs. The foldable phone sports Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin 990 5G with 2x Cortex A76 at 2.86GHz, 2x Cortex A76 at 2.36GHz and 4x Cortex A55 with 1.95GHz. The 5G SoC of the Huawei 5G tablet is supported by 8GB of RAM and a large expandable internal storage of 512GB. It has a dual-SIM card slot, or you can add one of Huawei’s nano memory cards to extend storage capacity by an additional 256GB.
The quad-camera system is based inside the vertical grip bar, including power button/fingerprint sensor combo and USB 3.1 GEN1 Type-C charging port with DP1.2 support. The Mate Xs comes with a 4,500mAh battery capacity split between two batteries, one on either side of the folding screen. The foldable smartphone is charged with 55W Huawei SuperCharge technology. This allows you to charge the battery from zero to 85 percent in 30 minutes. The intelligent multi-window function divides the 8’’ wide screen into two independent task interfaces. The huge smartphone runs with the latest EMUI 10, based on Android 10 OS. Please note, that even if English language (or another language) is available, some parts of the operating system might still be displayed in Chinese language. No launcher change possible.
