The Huawei Mate 40 Pro 5G is out and the phone has been improved in many ways and is based on the new Kirin 9000 processor. The Mate 40 Pro is a typical Mate series device equipped with high-tech components, innovative features and a unique design. The flagship smartphone is powered by the Kirin 9000 5G flagship chipset and a neural processing unit (NPU), featuring a Leica triple camera, an edge-to-edge curved screen, innovative side-touch interaction and a battery with 4400mAh supporting 66W Huawei SuperCharge with cable or 50W Wireless Huawei SuperCharge. The Mate 40 Pro uses a 5nm chipset for more efficiency, faster performance and integrated high-speed 5G support.
The 6.76 inch OLED screen wraps around the edges with 90Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The super-sharp display has screen resolution of 2772x1344 pixels with 16.7 million colors and DCI-P3. The eye-catching Horizon Display offers a wider area for interactions and has a dual punch hole front camera integrated. The integrated Always on Display (AOD) is based on EOD (Eyes On Display) meaning that the phone knows when you are looking at it and then activated the always-on display for your.
Like Apple's A14 Bionic SoC, Huawei uses the new 5nm Kirin 9000 process with 1x Cortex-A77 at 3.13GHz + 3x Cortex-A77 at 2.54GHz + 4x Cortex-A55 at 2.05GHz clock speed. On the rear of the Huawei Mate 40 Pro 5G is a triple space ring camera located. The 50 MP primary Ultra Vision Camera comes with f/1.9 aperture, 1/1.28 inch sensor, RYYB color filter array and octa PD auto focus. The second lens is a 20 MP Ultra Wide Cine Camera with f/1.8 aperture for cinematic recordings. The third 12 MP lens is a Telephoto Camera with 10x hybrid zoom and 50x digital zoom supporting OIS. What first appears to be a fourth camera is and accurate and fast laser focus sensor. The forward-facing camera Ultra Vision selfie camera comes with a 13 megapixel wide-angle sensor (f/2.4), combined with a 3D depth sensing camera. The Mate 40 Pro 5G is either charged with speedy 50W wireless charging or 66W Huawei SuperCharge technology. The built-in battery offers a capacity of 4400mAh. You can also look forward to the brand new EMUI 11, including new animation design and smooth and fast user experience. Connectivity options of the Mate 40 Pro 5G include worldwide dual 5G and 4G LTE support, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, multiple wireless connections, OTG, and dual GPS, to name just a few. The Mate 40 Pro 5G is also IP68 certified and therefore waterproof and dustproof.
