The Huawei Mate 30E Pro is equipped with an upgraded Kirin 990E chipset. The phone is an absolute high-end device with state-of-the-art hardware and features. With the Mate 30E Pro 5G you will explore a world of speed, power and innovation. The premium smartphone is powered by a Kirin 990E 5G flagship processor and a neural processing unit (NPU), featuring a quad camera with halo ring, an ultra-curved screen, innovative side-touch interaction and a battery with 4500mAh supporting 40W Huawei SuperCharge by cable or 27W Qi Wireless Huawei SuperCharge, as well as Huawei Reverse Charge. With dual 5G support, the Mate 30E Pro is also available in additionally colors, namely Forest Green and Orange with vegan leather rear.
The OLED screen of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G expands from edge to edge with 88 degree ultra curves and a diagonal size of 6.53 inch. The ultra-curved screen edges offer a wider area for interaction which made it possible to replace the physical buttons and control the smartphone with its side-touch feature. The display has a resolution of 2400 x 1176 pixels with 16.7 million colors and DCI-P3. The Always on Display also comes with Dark mode to avoid extreme brightness stimulation to deliver a more comfortable and immersive reading experience.
The HiSilicone Kirin 990E 5G is a mix of the Kirin 990 5G and Kirin 990 SoC. The processor comes with an upgraded modem supporting more frequencies and bands which the Kirin 990 5G doesn't support. Thanks to the Big-Core plus Tiny-Core NPU architecture the chipset is capable of AI capabilities, as well as improved speed, usage time and strong image capabilities. The Kirin 990E 5G SoC comes with 2x Cortex-A76 (2.86GHz) + 2x Cortex-A76 (2.09GHz) + 4x Cortex-A55 (1.86GHz) and is coupled with a 14 core Mali G76 GPU. The Mate 30E Pro 5G is equipped with 8GB of RAM and an expandable internal storage of 128GB or 256GB. The flash memory can be expanded by an additional 256GB with a NM memory card.
On the rear of the Huawei Mate 30E Pro 5G is a quad camera setup. The main camera lens of the SuperSensing Cine Camera is the 40 megapixel Cine camera to record ultra-low-light, ultra-slow motion with the 256x Ultra Slow-motion Video feature to easily catch amazing moments up to 7680 fps and ultra wide angle time-lapse videos. The second 40 megapixel SuperSensing camera with OIS captures rich details or objects with amazing clarity and resolution. The 8 megapixel telephoto camera with up to 30x digital zoom (3x optical zoom, 5x hybrid zoom) is perfect to take photos of objects in the distance. Inside the notch is not only the front-facing camera. In combination with the 3D Depth Sensing camera and gesture sensor the Mate 30E Pro 5G identifies your facial features and detects the movement of your hands being able to receive many commands such as unlocking, slide-changing and taking screenshots by only looking at the screen or simply swipe with your hand.
