The Huawei Mate 30 RS Porsche Design 5G is an absolute high-end smartphone with hardware, optics and features you have not seen on any other mobile device before. With the Porsche Design Mate 30 RS you will explore a new world of speed, visual boundaries, power and innovation. The premium smartphone is powered by the Kirin 990 5G flagship chipset and a neural processing unit (NPU), featuring a rear quad camera, an ultra-curved screen, innovative side-touch interaction and a battery with 4500mAh supporting 40W Huawei SuperCharge with cable or 27W Wireless Huawei SuperCharge, as well as Huawei Reverse Charge. With 5G support, the Mate 30 RS is available with a leather rear side in black and red.
The 6.53-inch OLED screen of the Huawei Mate 30 RS expands from edge to edge with 88 degree ultra curves. The ultra-curved screen edges offer a wider area for interaction which made it possible to replace the physical buttons and control the smartphone with its side-touch feature. The display has a resolution of 2400 x 1176 pixels with 16.7 million colors and DCI-P3. The Always on Display also comes with Dark mode to avoid extreme brightness stimulation to deliver a more comfortable and immersive reading experience.
Compared to the Kirin 980, the new Kirin 990 5G achieves significant improvements in overall performance and energy efficiency. Thanks to the new Big-Core plus Tiny-Core NPU architecture AI capabilities are vastly improved, as well as speed, usage time and strong image capabilities. The Kirin 990 SoC comes with 2x Cortex-A76 (2.86GHz) + 2x Cortex-A76 (2.09GHz) + 4x Cortex-A55 (1.86GHz) and is coupled with a Mali G76 GPU. The Mate 30 RS is equipped with 12GB of RAM and an expandable internal storage of 512GB. The flash memory can be expanded by an additional 256GB with a NM memory card.
On the rear of the Huawei Mate 30 RS Porsche Edition 5G is a quad camera setup. The main camera lens of the SuperSensing Cine Camera is the 40MP Cine camera to record ultra-low-light, ultra-slow motion with the 256x Ultra Slow-motion Video feature to easily catch amazing moments up to 7680 fps and ultra wide angle time-lapse videos. The second 40MP SuperSensing camera with OIS captures rich details or objects with amazing clarity and resolution. The 8MP telephoto camera with up to 30x digital zoom (3x optical zoom, 5x hybrid zoom) is perfect to take photos of objects in the distance. Last but not least, the Mate 30 RS sports a 3D Depth Sensing Camera which accurately measures the depth of the character and different objects for photos with Bokeh effect.

With the 32-megapixel front camera, the Huawei Mate 30 RS Porsche Edition 5G adjusts the light and contrast to reduce the impact of environmental factors. Inside the notch is not only the front-facing camera. In combination with the 3D Depth Sensing camera and gesture sensor the Mate 30 RS 5G identifies your facial features and detects the movement of your hands being able to receive many commands such as unlocking, slide-changing and taking screenshots by only looking at the screen or simply swipe with your hand.
