Huawei's sub-brand Honor presents with the AUM-AL20 model the second phone of the Honor 7A series. The difference is a memory of 3GB RAM, fingerprint sensor, and a dual rear camera. The affordable cell phone features a 5.7-inch screen with 18:9 aspect ratio. It also comes with a metal unibody and the latest Huawei user interface EMUI 8.0, based on Android 8.0 Oreo OS.
The Honor 7A has a large HD+ screen with 5.7-inch and 18:9 format (720x1440 pixels). Inside, smartphone is powered by a 64bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset in combination with an Adreno 505 GPU. Furthermore, it sports 3 GB of memory and 32 GB of internal storage. Thanks to the triples SIM slot the storage can be extended by up to 256 GB via microSD card without sacrificing one of the two Nano SIM slots.
Compared to AUM-AL00 this Honor 7A version comes with a dual camera on the rear. The main camera sensor has 13MP and the secondary comes with 2MP for taking pictures with Bokeh effect. PDAF as well as camera modes like HDR or Panorama are also supported. The 8-megapixel front camera reliably takes very good selfies and is perfect for face-to-face calls. In spite of the favorable price, Huawei also assembles a fingerprint sensor, which is also located at the back below the main camera. Facial recognition is also supported to unlock the device by only looking into the front camera.
The Honor 7A sports a built-in battery with 3,000mAh capacity. The battery is charged via micro USB port. The dual SIM cell phone runs Android 8.0 Oreo operating system which is overlaid with its own EMUI (Emotion user interface) 8.0. Other specifications include Bluetooth 4.2, BLE, GPS, Beidou, GLONASS, Wi-Fi and WiFi hotspot.
