The Honor X20 5G is powered by a Dimensity 900, with the latest Arm Cortex-A78 CPU cores for high-end 5G smartphones. The Android handset comes with 120Hz LCD display, up to 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage. The 8GB RAM variant supports RAM storage expansion by using 2GB from the internal storage as memory. On the back is a triple camera setup with 64MP main camera. The device packs a battery with 4,300mAh capacity supporting 66W Honor fast charging technology. It runs on Android 11-based Magic UI 4.2 and is available in Magic Night Black, Aurora Blue, and Titanium Silver.
The Honor X20 5G comes with a 6.67-inch LCD display sporting a FullHD+ resolution with 2376 x 1080 pixels. The panel features a 120Hz refresh rate and support for the DCI-P3 color gamut. The display comes with a five-fold eye protection feature and has an e-book mode which is easier on the eyes while reading. Under the hood, the Honor X20 is powered by the 64bit MediaTek Dimensity 900 octa-core processor that is based on a 6nm process. The Dimensity 900 is designed to capture every detail in all environments, with its exceptional 4K HDR video recording engine and flagship-grade noise reduction running with 2x A78 2.4GHz + 6x A55 2.0GHz, coupled with an Arm Mali-G68 MC4 GPU, up to 10GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB internal storage.
As for the optics, the Honor X20 5G packs a triple rear camera setup arranged in a circular camera island similar to Huawei’s signature camera module designs. The triple camera on the back includes a 64MP primary sensor (f/1.9), a 2MP depth sensor (f/2.4), and a 2MP macro shooter (f/2.4 aperture). The rear camera supports video recordings up to 4K with EIS anti-shake support. Just like the Honor Magic 3 series, the Honor X20 also uses a pill-shape cutout in the top left corner housing a 16 megapixel front camera (f/2.0) for selfies, video chats and facial recognition.
To keep its lights on, the Honor X20 comes with a built-in 4300 mAh battery that supports 66W Honor super fast charge. The Honor X20 can charge up to 50% in just 15 minutes and guarantees a full day of use without recharging. For connectivity, the device offers support for dual-band Wi-Fi, dual SIM, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Type-C port, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. The Honor X20 5G is running Magic UI 4.2 based on Android 11 OS with OTA support. Please note, that even if English language (or another language) is available, some parts of the operating system might still be displayed in Chinese language. No launcher change possible.
