Since LeEco has purchased large amounts of Coolpad the two producers are now producing a phablet together that knows how to convince not only on the data sheet. The new XXL smartphone from China has a 5.5-inch display and a dual camera and goes by the name Cool1 Dual.
Based on the design of the smartphone you can already see the similarity to the current LeEco devices. The handset is equipped with a 5.5-inch GFF FullHD display. Under the hood, the Cool 1 Dual is driven by a 64bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core chipset with up to 1.8GHz clock speed. In this model, the SoC from Qualcomm is flanked by 4GB of RAM and the Qualcomm Adreno 510 GPU. LeTV or LeEco and Coolpad equip the base model with a non-expandable internal memory of 32GB.
An eye-catching highlight of the new CoolEco phone, next to the high-quality magnesium alloy body, is the built-in dual camera on the back of the smartphone. The sensors of the camera have both a black and white and a color sensor. The camera software combines the information, thereby improving the image recording significantly. The two camera sensors each trigger on the back with 13.0 mega pixels. The camera module is supported additionally by an LED flash. Also selfie lovers can look forward to a 8-megapixel camera on the front.
In addition to these features and specs, the Cool1 Dual has also a slightly oval fingerprint scanner on the back, dual band WiFi (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, a USB Type-C connector, a large 4060mAh battery and 4G LTE connectivity. The Cool1 is shipped with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, which is coated with the in-house user interface EUI.
