The built-in Intel Core i5-7Y54 powers the laptop. The CPU is a very efficient dual-core SoC for tablets and passively cooled notebooks based on the Kaby Lake architecture. The processor consists of two processor cores with a burst frequency of 2.6 GHz. Thanks to Hyper Threading, the processor can execute up to four threads simultaneously. The internal memory of Mi Notebook Air can also be expanded. The notebook can accommodate another SSD hard drive in M.2 format.
The Xiaomi notebook features a 12.5-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080-pixels (176 ppi). 4K video can be reproduced by the HDMI connection. Furthermore, it has the notebook a USB type-C connection and USB 3.0 and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Xiaomi notebook is shipped with Windows 10 Home OS. The laptop comes with a 37Wh battery, which is enough to watch almost 8 hours of video or up to 7.5 hours web surfing. Thanks to fast charging technology the battery is charged again to 50% in 30 minutes. This enables an additional 5 hours of use until the next charging.
