The dual-display YotaPhone is back with a limited international version. The major differences to the ordinary Yotaphone 3 are multi-language Android 8.1 Oreo OS and that you can mirror app content on the E-Ink display. On the front of the Yota 3+ is a color 5.5 inch Super AMOLED display with FHD resolution. The secondary grayscale capacitive touch screen on the rear comes with 5.2-inches and a HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels (282ppi). The dual screen mobile phone is powered by a 64bit Snapdragon 625 chipset, 4GB of RAM and an Adreno 506 GPU.
One phone – two screens. In the front you can enjoy a high color accuracy, true blacks and remarkable brightness and contrast. The second E-ink Carta second generation display is perfect to be used in bright sunshine where normal displays will be diffused. The brighter the sun shines, the better you see the picture on the second screen. Even when the phones battery is completely dead, you can still use the second screen to check your most important information. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Octa-Core processor powers the Yota 3 Plus with up to 2.0GHz. The processor comes paired with 4GB of RAM, an Adreno 506 graphic unit (GPU) and either 64GB or 128GB internal storage.
Even with having two screens, the Yota 3+ still has two cameras. On the rear is a 12-megapixel main camera with dual-tone LED flash and f/1.9 aperture. Videos can be recorded with 1080p at 30fps. On the front a 13-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture is used. The fast and reliable fingerprint sensor is also located on the front. Additional features of the YotaPhone 3+ are dual band Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), dual 4G LTE, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS and GLONASS. The built-in battery has a capacity of 2000mAh and is charged via USB Type-C 1.0 reversible port. The smartphone runs with Android 8.1 Oreo, overlaid with Yota's own Yota OS dual-operating UI.
