The Xiaomi Hongmi 6 is an affordable mid-range cell phone with AI dual camera and a 5.45-inch screen. It comes with a dual SIM slot with space for two SIM cards or a SIM card and an additional microSD card to expand the built-in storage up to 256GB. The Redmi 6 is powered by a Helio P22 octa-core SoC, the latest addition to the Helio family of powerful and power-efficient chips. The 18:9 aspect ratio phone is available in two variants with 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 32GB.
The Xiaomi mobile phone comes with a 5.45-inch IPS LCD display with 295ppi and HD+ resolution (1440 x 720p). The Xiaomi Redmi 6 is powered by a 64bit MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core paired with 3+32GB or 4+64GB. For graphics the phone has an IMG PowerVR GE8320 on board. The internal storage can be expanded in both cases via TF card slot by up to 256 GB - a true dual SIM cell phone.
The AI dual camera setup with 12MP + 5MP will take better pictures than ever before. The rear camera supports PDAF phase focus, f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. Various modes and features like Portrait, Night enhancement, HDR, EIS or continuous shooting mode are supported. In terms of artificial intelligence, the Xiaomi Redmi 6 supports AI calorie counter, AI intelligent translation or AI smart currency conversion. On the front is a 5-megapixel camera sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 1.12μm large pixels. The phone can be unlocked with a fingerprint sensor on the rear or with face unlock.
The Redmi 5 successor comes with a 3,000mAh built-in battery. Furthermore, the dual SIM handset supports Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n), GPS and A-GPS, Glonass, Beidou as well as 4G LTE and VoLTE. The Redmi 6 smartphone runs Android 8 Oreo OS overlaid with MIUI.
