The Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Plus is using the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset as the regular Mi Pad 4 tablet. The difference of the Plus version is a larger display and a higher-capacity battery. The Mi Pad 4 Plus only comes with LTE support and has 4+64GB or 4+128GB. The Android tablet features a 13-megapixel camera on the back and a 5-megapixel front camera.
The Mi Pad 4 Plus features a 10.1-inch IPS LCD screen with a pixel density of 224ppi, which results in a FHD resolution with 1920 x 1200 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:10. Underneath, the device is powered by a 64bit octa-core processor from Qualcomm. The Snapdragon 660 SoC comes with a burst frequency up to 2.2GHz. The processor is paired with 4GB of RAM and an Adreno 512 GPU. The Mi Pad 4 Plus is available in two different versions with 64GB or 128GB of expandable internal storage.
The Mi Pad 4 Plus also gets the same 13MP main camera with f/2.0 aperture and a front facing camera with 5MP (f/2.0 aperture) which supports face unlock. Another addition is a fingerprint sensor that’s placed right underneath the display integrated into the home button.
The Mi Pad 4 Plus comes with LTE and GPS support as standard. It also supports 802.11 ac 5GHz WiFi with 2×2 MIMO as well as Bluetooth 5.0. Powering the larger screen is an 8,620mAh battery which is rated to last up to 16 hours of video playback. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 4+ supports a standard 5V 2A and is charged via USB-C. Like the smaller Mi Pad 4, it’s available in either Black or Gold. The tablet runs with MIUI, based on Android 8.1 Oreo OS out of the box.
