The Vivo IQOO 8 Pro phone has scored an A+ mark, which earned the Vivo premium phone a DisplayMate Best Smartphone Display Award. Additional flagship specs include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+, 120W FlashCharge support, a 50MP+48MP+16MP triple rear camera, up to 12GB DDR5 RAM, up to 512GB storage and an ultrasonic 3D in-display fingerprint reader. The high-end Vivo iQOO 8 Pro sports a brilliant 2K LTPO 10-bit display with a variable 120Hz refresh rate. In addition to 120W wired charging, the IQOO 8 Pro can be charged with 50W Qi Wireless charging technology. The Vivo iQOO 8 Pro runs OriginOS for iQOO based on Android 11 OS.
The screen of the Vivo iQOO 8 Pro received the highest given out rating by DisplayMate. The smartphone display set or matched 14 smartphone display performance records including covering 112% of DCI-P3, 140% of sRGB or a peak brightness of 1500 nits. The phone features a 6.78 inch 2K AMOLED display with 3200 x 1440 pixel resolution (517ppi), a 1-120 Hz variable refresh rate, and new E5 luminescent technology. The DisplayMate A+ rated smartphone has a screen-to-body ratio of 92.22% and supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision with a contrast of 8000000:1. The Vivo IQOO 8 Pro is equipped with the latest 64bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus octa-core processor, an Adreno 660 GPU and up to 12GB LPDDR5 four-channel memory. For photos and videos, the Vivo iQOO 8 Pro model comes with a triple rear camera setup. The phone sports a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766V sensor with an aperture of f/1.75, and gimbal stabilization, a 48-megapixel Sony IMX598 ultra wide-angle with 114°, and a 16-megapixel portrait camera with f/2.23 aperture. The camera supports 20x digital zoom, OIS, PDAF and video recordings up to 8K, as well as slow-motion recordings up to 1080p. At the front, the iQOO 8 Pro has a 16-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.4 aperture for selfies, video calls and to unlock with biometrics using Face Wake.
The Vivo iQOO 8 Pro packs a dual-cell battery with a total capacity of 4500mAh, allowing for super-fast 120W wired charging speeds or 50W wireless flash charging. With Vivo's 120W Flash Charge technology the iQOO 8 Pro can be charged in 18 minutes from zero to 100%. At the same time, the phone supports wireless reverse charging to easily cope with power needs of other devices. An interesting fact for gamers and e-sports enthusiasts is that the iQOO 8 series phones are the first devices to support the upcoming 120fps mode of the mobile gaming title King of Glory. Connectivity options include NFC, OTG, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, FM radio, dual 5G and dual 4G LTE. To accurately and safely navigate you can rely on GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo and QZSS. The Vivo IQOO 8 Pro runs OriginOS UI for IQOO, based on Android 11 OS out of the box with OTA support.
