The Realme GT Neo 5G is the second phone in the Realme GT series, following the Realme GT 5G dubbed to be the world's cheapest Snapdragon 888 smartphone. The Realme GT Neo 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC and up to 12GB RAM. The specifications include a 6.43-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen, up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, and a triple rear camera with Sony IMX682 main camera. In addition, the Realme GT Neo 5G supports 50W SuperDart charging, NFC, dual 5G and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The operating system is Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0 on top and there are three color options available.
It features a punch-hole 6.43-inch Samsung Super AMOLED screen with FullHD+ resolution (1080x2400 pixels) with 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and 91.7 percent screen to body ratio. The Realme GT Neo 5G is powered by the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 1200 octa-core processor with max. 3.0GHz, paired with ARM G77 MC9 GPU. The Android phone comes with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.
On the back is a triple camera setup. The cameras of the Realme GT Neo 5G include a mid-range 64 megapixel Sony IMX682 main camera, an 8 megapixel ultra wide angle lens with 119° FOV, and a 2 megapixel 4cm macro camera. Rear camera functions include Super Night scene, HDR, AI Scene recognition or background blur. Videos can be recorded up to 4K@60fps and the Realme GT Neo 5G supports EIS video stabilization, UIS Max Video Super Anti-Shake and Slow-Mo recordings with up to 480fps. The front-facing punch-hole camera is a 16 megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.5 aperture and 78° field-of-view. Biometric security is achieved with an in-display fingerprint sensor and facial recognition.
The Realme GT Neo 5G comes with a built-in battery with a capacity of 4500mAh supporting 50W fast charging technology. This allows you to charge the Realme GT Neo 5G in 15 minutes to 50%. The innovative GT mode unleashes super-realistic enhanced image quality, 4D vibration, and lightning speed to start your game with one tap. Other features of the Realme GT Neo 5G include dual 5G connectivity, Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi 6 (IEEE802.11ax), Hi-Res audio, GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, QZSS and Galileo for navigation and precise positioning. The China phone has a NFC chip for mobile payment and is equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Realme GT Neo 5G runs realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 OS out of the box with OTA support. Please note, that even if English language (or another language) is available, some parts of the operating system might still be displayed in Chinese language. No launcher change possible.
