Huawei has added the Android tablet MatePad 10.8 to its lineup. The Huawei MatePad 10.8-inches is available with WiFi-only and 4G LTE support. The device is equipped with a 10.8-inch display with 16:10 aspect ratio and Harman Kardon quad speakers. The storage capacity of 64GB, 128GB and 256GB can be further expanded with a 512GB microSD memory card.
The 16:10 IPS screen of the Huawei MatePad 10.8" sports a super sharp 2K resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a pixel density of 280ppi. Underneath, the multimedia device is powered by the most powerful 7nm HiSilicon Kirin 990 octa-core chipset, in combination with a NPU and Mali-G76 GPU, with GPU Turbo 3.0 support for greatly improved graphics. The MatePad 10.8-inch is available in Gray with 6GB+64GB, 6GB+128GB and 6GB+256GB with Wi-Fi 6+ support and with 6GB+256GB LTE and Wi-Fi 6+. In addition, the MatePad 10.8 comes also in Gold color with 6GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB, including Wi-Fi 6+ support. The internal storage of all variants can be further expanded by up to 512GB with a microSD card.
It has a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture for taking selfies or face-to-face calls. The front-facing camera also supports facial recognition to securely unlock the Huawei MatePad 10.8. A 7500mAh battery is providing the necessary energy. Connectivity options include WiFi6+, dual band Wi-Fi (2.4G/5G), Bluetooth 5.1, a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C port, and four Harman Kardon speakers. The MatePad 10.8-inch tablet is running EMUI 10 based on Android 10 OS out of the box. Please note, that even if English language (or another language) is available, some parts of the operating system might still be displayed in Chinese language. No launcher change possible.
