The Hisense A5 Pro E-ink screen Android smartphone received some upgrades compared to the HiSense A5. The Pro-version of the A5 has the same 5.84 inch energy-saving monochrome screen, but it supports a faster refresh mode with a refresh time of only 136ms. In addition, it has a dual SIM card slot now and runs Android 10. Additional features include a fingerprint reader on the back, NFC support and a Type-C charging port. The HiSense A5 Pro is powered by a Unisoc T610 octa-core SoC and the A5 Pro and comes in three different colors with baby skin lacquer finish.
The 5.84 inch HD+ screen has a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and it is perfect for reading an e-book. The paper frontlight display comes with adjustable brightness for use in the dark, with all the pros of an E-Ink screen including a very low power consumption and that it never turns off. Like with any other ebook reader or kindle device, the screen has a low refresh rate with ghosting effect. Underneath the black and white screen is a T610 chipset from Unisoc (former Spreadtrum) with eight cores. The SoC is paired with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and an expandable internal storage of 64GB or 128GB.
The HiSense A5 Pro has a microSD card slot, USB Type-C charging port, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, OTG, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a large 4000mAh battery with 5V/2A charging support. The HiSense A5 Pro sports a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. Another upgraded feature is NFC support. The operating system of the Hisense A5 Pro E-ink screen phone is Android 10 OS. Please note, that even if English language (or another language) is available, some parts of the operating system might still be displayed in Chinese language. If you order the HiSense A5 Pro with multi-language firmware (Custom ROM), please do not reset the device to the factory settings, otherwise you can no longer use Google Play Store or other Gapps!
