The Xiaomi Black Shark 4S Pro is the main gaming flagship phone powered by the Snapdragon 888 Plus, and equipped with the industry’s top LPDDR5 memory (6400Mbps) and enhanced UFS 3.1 flash memory, which is currently the strongest storage solution available. In addition, the gaming phone is also equipped with an SSD storage disk array system, with a built-in NVME specification PC-level SSD. The Samsung E4 AMOLED screen of the Black Shark 4S Pro has a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a 720Hz touch-sampling rate for extremely precise tracking when playing online games. The panel has two pressure-sensitive zones and supports MEMC dynamic compensation, DC Dimming, and 1300 nits peak brightness. The 6.67-inch AMOLED screen is made of E4 luminescent material for optimized peak brightness and reduced power consumption compared to the past E3 materials. The Black Shark 4S Pro gaming phone is powered by a 64bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ octa-core chipset with a maximum clock speed of 3.2GHz. The processor is paired with an Adreno 660 GPU and 16GB DDR5 of RAM with a faster 6400Mbps module. The Black Shark 4S Pro comes with UFS 3.1 storage but also supports SSD Disk Array System. Compared with other mobile phones, the read performance can be increased by 55%, and the write performance is greatly improved too.
On the rear of the Xiaomi Black Shark 4S Pro is a triple camera setup with 64 megapixel GW3 main sensor with f/1.79 aperture, a secondary 120° ultra wide angle les with 8-megapixel sensor and a third 5-megapixel macro lens. Videos can be recorded with a resolution up to 4K at 60fps. Supported camera modes include Super Night View, AI camera, 64MP Ultra Clear or Portrait background blur. The punch hole display houses the 20-megapixel front-facing camera supporting Dynamic photo, Countdown camera, AI Smart beauty and videos with 1080p@30fps. The front camera is also excellent for live streaming, vlogs and to unlock the gamer phone with facial recognition.
The Black Shark 4S Pro packs a built-in battery with 4500mAh capacity supporting up to 120W charging speeds. In terms of connectivity, the Xiaomi gaming phone supports Bluetooth 5.2, including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive and LDAC. Other wireless connections include NFC, Wi-Fi Display, Wi-Fi Direct and Wi-Fi 6, as well as dual 5G and 4G LTE including band 20 (B20) with 800MHz and band 28 (B28) with 700MHz. For navigation GPS/AGPS, Glonass, Beidou, QZSS and European Galileo is available. The Xiaomi Black Shark 4S Pro is running JoyUI with MIUI 12.5 basic functions, based on Android 11 operating system.
