The freshly launched Vivo iQOO Neo 5 5G smartphones features a 6.62-inch AMOLED panel and is powered by a Snapdragon 870 chipset with 3.2GHz. The iQOO Neo 5 is available in three different RAM and storage variants with 8GB+128GB, 12GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB. Additional attractive features of the gaming phone are 66W fast-charging for the 4,400mAh battery and a triple rear camera, as well as 5G connectivity. The phone runs OriginOS based on Android 11.
The Vivo smartphone features a 6.62-inch FullHD+ AMOLED screen with 2400x1080 pixels (397ppi), 120Hz refresh rate and 300Hz touch sampling rate. Furthermore, the 20:9 display is HDR 10+ certified and comes with a peak brightness of 1300 nits. Under the hood, a 64bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 7nm octa core SoC with 1x 3.2GHz, 3x 2.4GHz and 4x 1.8GHz is paired with an Adreno 650 GPU for an excellent experience of speed and power. The phone is available with up to 12GB of RAM and the non-expandable internal storage capacity of 128GB or 256GB comes with super-fast UFS3.1 standard.
The camera department offers a triple camera setup on the rear. Vivo equipped the iQOO Neo 5 with a 48 megapixel f/1.8 main sensor, a 13 megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2 megapixel black/white camera module with f/2.4 aperture. The main rear camera supports OIS anti-shake and up to 10x digital zoom. The front-facing camera is hidden behind a punch hole and has a 16 megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture. The front camera can be used to unlock the device with Vivo's FaceWake.
The dual SIM cell phone packs a 4400mAh battery with support for 66W SuperFast charging. Mobile gamers can look forward to extended gaming sessions thanks to the built-in liquid cooling system to prevent the device from overheating during long gaming sessions. Connectivity options on the Vivo iQOO Neo 5 include dual band Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G LTE. The IQOO Neo 5 ships with Android 11 OS with custom OriginOS on top. Please note, that even if English language (or another language) is available, some parts of the operating system might still be displayed in Chinese language. No launcher change possible.
