The new Xiaomi RedmiBook Pro 14 Ryzen Edition features the same FullView display for a truly immersive viewing experience with 100% sRGB color gamut like the Intel version. The new AMD Ryzen 5000 APU powers the laptop, which is supported by 16 GB of DDR4 RAM and a 512 GB SATA SSD.
The Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi further enhances it's RedmiBook Pro Line with the latest AMD Ryzen APU's. The laptop also features the same 14 inch Super Retina display with a 2560x1600 pixels resolution, slim 4.3mm bezels and a screen-to-body ratio of 88.2%. The display ratio is 16:10 with a high-definition anti-glare screen and a 178° wide viewing angle, 300nits brightness and 100% SRGB color gamut. It also passed TÜV Rheinlands Low Blue Light Certification.
Another stand-out feature is the Radeon RX Vega 7/8 integrated graphics card. The RedmiBook Pro 14 Ryzen Edition comes in two different variants with built-in AMD Ryzen 7 5700U, 16GB RAM and 512GB storage and Radeon RX Vega 8 or AMD Ryzen 5 5500U, 16GB RAM and 512GB storage and Radeon RX Vega 7 graphics card. All processors are the new processor for thin and light laptops based on the Lucienne generation. The chip is manufactured on the modern 7nm TSMC process that also supports Hyperthreading. Furthermore, AMD Ryzen 5000 APU the dual channel memory controller supports DDR4-3200 and energy efficient LPDDR4-4266 RAM. In addition, 8 MB level 3 cache can be found on the chip.
The RedmiBook weighs just 1.46 kilos and has a thickness of 17.25mm. With the affordable RedmiBook Pro 14 you also get one USB 3.2 Gen1 3.2 port, one USB-C port with Video Output Support and a USB 2.0 port and USB-C Charging Port, also a HDMI port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and dual band Wi-Fi ax with Wi-Fi 6 along with Bluetooth v5.1 connectivity. The laptop has a full-size keyboard with a travel distance of 1.3mm and a 125mmx81.6mm PTP touchpad.
