Realme has unveiled the GT Neo 2 device with 120Hz Samsung E4 AMOLED display, Snapdragon 870 octa-core chipset and a triple rear camera. The Android phone is available with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage capacity. It packs a large battery with 5000mAh capacity supporting 65W SuperDart fast charging technology. Connectivity options include dual 5G, NFC, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. The Realme GT Neo 2 is running Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 OS.
The Realme GT Neo 2 arrives with a 120Hz Samsung E4 AMOLED screen spanning 6.62 inch with HDR 10+ support and 600Hz touch sampling rate for mobile games. The screen resolution is 1080x2400 (FHD+) and the device has a screen-to-body ratio of 92.6%, 1300 nit peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3 wide color gamut, 5000000:1 contrast ratio and 106% NTSC color saturation to offer. Underneath, the GT Neo 2 is powered by a 64bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G octa-core chipset with a maximum clock speed of 3.2GHz. The SoC is paired with an Adreno 650 GPU and up to 12GB of RAM. You can choose between 128GB and 256GB internal storage with fast UFS 3.1 storage standard.
In terms of the camera, Realme GT Neo 2 features a triple-camera setup on the rear which includes a 64-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. The 64MP ultra-clear main camera has a 26mm focal length, 78.6° FOV and an aperture of f/1.8. In addition, the two other sensors include an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor comes with 119° FOV (f/2.3) and a 2MP macro lens with 4cm focus distance and f/2.4 aperture. The punch-hole front camera has a 16-meagpixel Sony wide-angle camera (78° FOV) and supports EIS video stabilization and up to 1080p@30fps video recordings.
The smartphone houses a large 5,000mAh with support for 65W SuperDart Charging. Realme claims that the GT Neo 2 is charged from 0 to 100% in just 36 minutes. The GT Neo 2 also features an in-display fingerprint reader, stereo dual speakers, and Hi-Res audio certification. It also supports dual 5G networks, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, Tactile Engine 2.0 and has an NFC chip on board. Please note, that even if English language (or another language) is available, some parts of the operating system might still be displayed in Chinese language. No launcher change possible.
