The Huawei Mate 40 Pro+ 5G is co-engineered with German camera specialist Leica. The camera space ring on the rear is housing a superb quad-camera setup with 50MP main sensor and 12GB of RAM. Compared to its predecessor it has been improved in many ways and is now based on the new Kirin 9000 processor. The Mate 40 Pro+ is a typical Mate series device equipped with state-of-the-art features, high-tech components and an innovative and unique design. The flagship smartphone is powered by the Kirin 9000 5G flagship chipset and a neural processing unit (NPU), featuring a Leica quad camera, an edge-to-edge curved screen, innovative side-touch interaction and a battery with 4400mAh supporting 66W Huawei SuperCharge with cable or 50W Wireless Huawei SuperCharge. The Mate 40 Pro Plus uses a 5nm chipset for more efficiency, faster performance and integrated high-speed 5G support.
The 6.76 inch OLED waterfall screen wraps around the edges with 90 Hz refresh rate and 240 Hz touch sampling rate. The super-sharp display has screen resolution of 2772 x 1344 pixels with 16.7 million colors and DCI-P3. The eye-catching Horizon Display offers a wider area for interactions and has a dual punch hole front camera integrated. The integrated Always on Display (AOD) is based on EOD (Eyes On Display) meaning that the phone knows when you are looking at it and then activated the always-on display for your.

On the back of the Huawei Mate 40 Pro+ 5G is a quad space ring camera located. The 50-megapixel super-sensing camera supports OIS and an aperture of f/1.9. The main lens is accompanied by a 20-megapixel Ultra Wide Cine Camera with f/2.4 aperture for cinematic recordings and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens (f/2.4, OIS). The fourth sensor is an 8 megapixel super zoom camera with 10x optical, f/4.4 aperture and OIS support. For even more stunning photos, the Mate 40 Pro+ comes with a 3D deep camera. The forward-facing camera Ultra Vision selfie camera comes with a 13 megapixel wide-angle sensor (f/2.4), combined with a 3D depth sensing camera. The front camera is supporting now Vlog features like 4K or ultra wide view video recordings.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro+ 5G is either charged with speedy 50W wireless charging or 66W Huawei SuperCharge technology. The non-removable battery offers a capacity of 4400mAh. You can also look forward to the brand new EMUI 11, including new animation design and smooth and fast user experience. Connectivity options of the Mate 40 Pro+ 5G include worldwide dual 5G and 4G LTE support, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, multiple wireless connections, OTG, and dual GPS, to name just a few.
