The Honor Magic 3 is the base model of the Magic 3 series. The Android phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor and sports a triple rear camera, including laser focus sensor and flicker sensor. On the front, it is equipped with a 6.67-inch OLED panel supporting up to 120Hz refresh rate and 1920Hz high frequency PWM eye protection. The rear camera features a 64MP monochrome camera, a 50MP wide-angle lens, and a 13MP ultra-wide sensor. The phone packs a large 4600 mAh battery supporting 66W Honor Super charging technology. The Honor Magic 3 runs Android 11 with Magic UI 5 skin on top and benefit from IP54 splash water and dust protection.
The Honor premium phone has a 6.76 inch flexible fullHD+ OLED screen with 2772 x 1344 pixel resolution (456ppi) and true 1.07 billion colors. In addition, the screen features DCI-P3 wide color gamut, HDR10+ support, 89° curvature, color accuracy Delta E <0.8, and TÜV Rheinland eye comfort certification. The Honor Magic 3 is equipped with an octa-core flagship Snapdragon 888 processor with up to 2.84GHz maximum burst frequency. The Android phone supports brand new GPU Turbo X graphics acceleration engine, soaring 3D computing power including ultra-low latency engine, anti-aging engine and smart memory engine. The Snapdragon 888 is coupled with an Adreno 660 GPU and 8GB of memory. You can choose between 128GB or 256GB internal storage space.
The Honor Magic 3 has three rear cameras with a 50 megapixel (Sony IMX766) main sensor supporting 23mm focal length and all-pixel and full-range focusing. The primary shooter is accompanied by a 13MP autofocusing ultra wide-angle camera and a 64MP black-and-white camera with f/1.8 aperture. The triple camera setup is supported by a laser focusing sensor and a flicker sensor to reduce flickers during shooting. With the Honor Magic 3 you can record 4K videos like a movie. IMAX has developed a variety of Hollywood-quality 3D LUTs for the Magic 3 series. The 13MP front-camera is used to take selfies, vlogs, video calls or to unlock the phone with 2D face recognition support.
Like the Honor Magic 3 Pro and Magic 3 Pro+ it packs a big battery with 4,600mAh capacity supporting 66W Honor fast charging technology via its USB Type-C 3.1 GEN1 port. The dual SIM phone features Wi-Fi 6, 2x2 MIMO, dual 5G, dual 4G, Bluetooth 5.2, and has a NFC chip. With the power of dual Wi-Fi and dual cellular network combined, the phone is able to achieve peak download speeds of up to 6.1 Gbps. For navigation and positioning you can rely on dual GPS, A-GPS, triple BeiDou and dual Galileo. The Honor Magic 3 runs Android 11 out of the box with the latest Magic UI 5 on top and supports OTA updates. Please note, that even if English language (or another language) is available, some parts of the operating system might still be displayed in Chinese language. No launcher change possible.
