Blackview unveiled the BV6600 which packs some exciting specifications including a massive 8580mAh battery with up to 792 hours standby time. The rugged smartphones is powered by the MediaTek Helio A25 octa-core CPU, 4GB of RAM and 64GB ROM. It comes with a compact 5.7-inch display with 720 x 1440 pixels resolution with 18:9 aspect ratio. Like most rugged smartphones out there, the BV6600 is IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810G compliant, meaning it can withstand extreme outdoor conditions.
The big battery phone sports a HD+ IPS screen with 5.7-inch and a resolution of 1440 x 720p. The touch panel is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 to protect the phone from cracks and scratches. In addition, the Blackview BV6600 is water proof, shock proof and dust proof. Under the hood, there is an octa-core MediaTek MT6762V/WD, aka Helio A25 CPU clocked at 1.8GHz, along with PowerVR GE8320 GPU, 4GB RAM and 64GB built-in storage. The internal storage can be expanded with a microSD memory card by 128GB to save as many as 150 movies.
The rugged Android device has three cameras at the back which includes a 16-megapixel main sensor, along with a 5 megapixel wide-angle lens and a third 2 megapixel auxiliary lens. Thank to its IP rating you can use the Blackview BV6600 to take photos underwater or harsh conditions. On the front, there is a single 8-megapixel selfie shooter (Sony IMX219) for video calls, selfie shots or to unlock the durable phone. In addition, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor is easy to reach without the need to input passwords or draw a complicated pattern.
The Blackview BV6600 is powered by an 8580mAh insane battery with reverse charging support. The device offers network-off standby time up to 792 hours and 4G/Wi-Fi standby time up to 430 hours.
