The Amazfit Nexo Smart Watch is a brand new addition to the successful Amazfit smartwatch line-up of Xiaomi’s sub-brand Huami. The sporty smartwatch has an eye-catching design and an extremely durable frame made of microcrystalline zirconium ceramic. The Amazfit Nexo comes with a 1.39-inch AMOLED display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The smartwatch is water resistant and supports 10 different sports modes. Like the GTS, the Nexo is equipped with an integrated BioTracker PPG biological tracking optical sensor and a large battery with 420mAh battery capacity.
The Amazfit Nexo packs a sharp and clear 1.39 inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 454 x 454 pixel and 326ppi pixel density. In China, the Nexo is called simply Amazfit Smartwatch 2. The watch is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2500 quad-core processor with 1.1GHz and 512MB memory. The internal storage accounts to 4GB with approximately 1GB of available storage.
The most striking feature of this device is that it has an eSIM slot. Unlike, other smartwatches or fitness tracker which rely solely on Wi-Fi networks to obtain network connectivity the Amazfit Nexo has its own Internet connectivity. The Amazfit Nexo lets you register a virtual SIM within the App without the need for a physical SIM card. *The China version AC1903 can be operated with China Unicom, China Telecom or China Mobile mobile phone carriers.
